STAAR Results in Skyward Family Access

The STAAR (State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness) is being redesigned for the 2022-2023 school year in Texas as a result of House Bill 3906 passed by the Texas Legislature in 2019. The redesign is intended to align more closely with classroom instruction and includes online testing and accommodations, new question types, cross-curricular passages, and evidence-based writing.

House Bill 3906 in Texas established a "multiple choice cap," which limits the use of multiple choice questions to no more than 75% of the total points on a STAAR test.
