CoastLife CU:

CoastalLife CU supports, sponsors and participates in activities to benefit the local community throughout the year. We're committed to helping our communities become stronger and financially healthier. Some of the ways you'll see our involvement:
Scholarships: We're thrilled to announce that applications for our annual scholarships are now available! This year, we are awarding 11 scholarships, each valued at $1,500, to support students in their educational pursuits.

CBCF Scholarship Application

This is a combined application form for OVER 80 scholarships administered through the Coastal Bend Community Foundation. Scholarships and their criteria can be reviewed by selecting “CBCF Scholarships” or “Outside Scholarships”. BCF Scholarship application is available annually from December 15 – March 1
 


Charles Butt Scholarship for Aspiring Teachers

The Charles Butt Scholarship for Aspiring Teachers – one component of the Raising Texas Teachers initiative – is designed to encourage the best and brightest students to consider a future in the teaching profession. The scholarship consists of $8,000-$10,000 in annual funding for up to four years, as well as ongoing professional development opportunities, mentorship from sitting public school educators, and participation in a statewide aspiring teachers network facilitated by the Raise Your Hand Texas Foundation.

Downes Memorial Scholarship

Downes Memorial Scholarship awarded each year to deserving students who excel in both academics and golf.  This scholarship is available to Alice area high school seniors, both male and female, who have played a minimum of 2 years of varsity golf and are attending or planning to seek a four-year college degree. All applications are due via email (kevinraydownes@gmail.com) by May 2nd at 5 pm (scanned or electronic copies are accepted)- click here 


Critter Stop Scholarships:

Critter Stop is offering five $1,000 scholarships to graduating high school seniors in Texas and Oklahoma attending college, university, or trade school in the upcoming academic year.

Geo Group Scholarship:

This scholarship of $200.00 seeks to provide a high school senior who will be attending an accredited four-year college or university. This amount will apply to the first year of tuition.
